Architected and developed a Portfolio and Project Management Database application with 2 other Access developers and various project, resource and financial managers. The PPM Database has over 300 users in various departments and allows them to maintain a list of projects with Resources, Budgets, Forecasts, Status Reports as well as various complex, executive reports. The PPM Database as a fully customized application saved BCBSMN over $500,000 in alternative software costs.
Redesigned the Healthy Start Database application to accommodate all of the needs of their Outreach, Intake and Case Management staff, 30+ individuals. The Healthy Start Database takes in complex data feeds from various systems, allows a small Outreach staff to send out mailings and telephone thousands of potential clients. The Intake staff processes applications of pregnant mothers over the phone and then passes on the clients to the nursing staff, who assess the specific needs of each expectant mother using 15 or more “domains” of hundreds of assessment questions and allows them to distribute various reference materials and resources to their clients to improve the chance of mothers reaching a full term pregnancy, saving groups millions of dollars in preterm delivery costs. |
